IPmux-2L TDM Over IP


RAD’s IPmux-2L TDM pseudowire access gateway extends TDM, HDLC and Ethernet services over packet switched networks. Incorporating a multi-standard pseudowire ASIC, it supports TDMoIP, CESoPSN, SAToP, and HDLCoPSN encapsulation with minimal processing delay. The IPmux-2L converges full, fractional and unframed E1 streams along with serial data and user LAN traffic over IP, MPLS or Ethernet networks.

  • Up to two framed or unframed E1 user ports
  • An n x 64 user port with various serial interfaces (X.21, V.24/RS-232, RS-530/RS-422, V.35, V.36/RS-449)
  • Two user LAN ports (both copper, or one copper and one fiber optic)
  • A single Fast Ethernet copper or fiber network interface
  • Multi-standard TDM pseudowire ASIC: TDMoIP, CESoPSN, SAToP, HDLCoPSN,
  • 100 ppb frequency accuracy; High precision clock recovery per G.823
  • Independent clock regeneration per E1 port
  • Four priority queues (SP or WFQ); QoS per 802.1p, DSCP, IP Precedence, or per port
  • Up to 63 individually configured PW connections
